April 12th, 2021

In collaboration with the Goethe Institute Montreal and in partnership with the Alexander von Humboldt German International School, the State of Bavaria Montreal Office is presenting a virtual book presentation with Bavarian children’s author and illustrator Erhard Dietl.
The event will take place online on April 29, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) / 4:30 p.m. (CET).

The author will introduce you to the world of the Olchis by reading from one of his books and explaining how his drawings come to life. Children (and adults) will be able to ask questions to the author during the event or in advance by email (see address below).

Erhard Dielt was born in Regensburg, Bavaria and studied at the Munich Academy of Arts. More than 30 years ago, he created the Olchis, a family of little monsters who live on a landfill. Since then, he has published books for all age groups, as well as plays, audiobooks and much more.

The event is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 12 and will be held in German.
