Research in Bavaria, a new web portal with an integrated search engine, informs scientists from all over the world about opportunities for research and teaching at Bavarian universities. It shows the research landscape of Bavaria’s higher education institutions, enables searches for suitable contacts in Bavaria and offers comprehensive career tips. In addition, a blog offers authentic insights and stories about experiences in the everyday life of international researchers who have already successfully settled in Bavaria.

In addition to the website, the Facebook and Twitter pages of Research in Bavaria keep young researchers from all over the world up to date on scholarships and job offers at Bavarian universities.

“Science thrives on international exchange and knows no borders. We want to inspire the best researchers and young scientists from all over the world to come to Bavaria. Research in Bavaria helps to make the attractiveness of our science location visible abroad and thus attract the brightest minds,” said Science Minister Sibler.

The joint initiative of the universities and the Ministry of Science thereby also supports the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda Plus. Its goal is to create a unique research environment for top researchers and to offer a large number of new study opportunities for the specialists of tomorrow.
