Technology-oriented start-ups from Bavaria are now receiving support in opening up new foreign markets. With the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs’ new “Start-up International” funding program, companies will receive up to €23,000 per target country over a period of 12 months. Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger explains: “Digital and scalable business models know no boundaries. We want to build on this great potential and therefore support start-ups in opening up new foreign markets. In this way, we are promoting the growth and consolidation of the companies. This pays off—because every Bavarian company abroad is also an ambassador for our economy as well.”

The program provides 50 percent support for consulting and coaching services, marketing and advertising measures, and participation in trade fairs, among other things. A maximum of two new target countries can be developed. The 2.1-million-euro program is part of the High-Tech Agenda Plus and was developed in close cooperation with the Bavarian Foreign Trade Center and various partners from start-up organizations.

Applications can initially be submitted until September 30, 2022. All further information on the funding program and application at Externer Link: Mit Klick auf diesen Link verlassen Sie die Webseite www.bayern.de www.startup-international.de.
